JAKARTA – SMA Islam Al Azhar 3 has once again demonstrated its academic prowess on the national stage. The school’s contingent achieved remarkable success at the Al Azhar Science Olympiade (OSA) XVIII 2026, bringing home a total of 8 prestigious awards.
This accomplishment is a testament to the students’ hard work and the school’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence. In this year’s competition, the contingent secured multiple medals across diverse subjects in both science and social studies.

List of Awardees: The highlight of the achievement was the Gold Medals won by Andi Nadine Ardian (Biology) and Falih Zandri (Informatics). This success was followed by four Silver Medals earned by Eero Farrel (Informatics), Naura Almahanun (Economics), M. Farren Avisena (Biology), and Achmad Rayyan Putra Siregar (Mathematics). Furthermore, Honorable Mentions were awarded to Benjamin Aziz (Geography) and Mahdi Elfigo (Informatics) for their outstanding performance.
The Role of Mentors: This triumph would not have been possible without the intensive guidance of the faculty mentors. Deep appreciation is extended to Pak Maul, Ibu Inong, Ibu Widy, Ibu Nada, and Ibu Eka, whose dedication in preparing the students for the national stage has been invaluable.
The Principal of SMA Islam Al Azhar 3 expressed great pride in these achievements. “This victory serves as an inspiration for the entire Al Azhar community to continue pursuing academic excellence while maintaining our core values of faith and integrity,” they stated.
