JAKARTA – Strengthening the spirit of inquiry and collaboration, SMA Islam Al Azhar 3 Kebayoran Baru successfully organized the Collaborative Science Project (CSP) and Collaborative Social Science Project (CSSP) on January 29-30, 2026.

The two-day program, held at Taman Agrowisata Gunung Mas, Bogor, saw the participation of 43 students from two classes. To ensure a high-quality academic experience and proper guidance, the group was accompanied by 14 teachers serving as supervisors and committee members throughout the research journey.
Academic Rigor and Environmental Care
The activity kicked off with a symbolic donation of tree seedlings, reflecting the IBDP’s focus on environmental service. Students then engaged in two major research sessions, collecting primary data within the agrotourism site. These sessions are designed to help students apply theoretical knowledge from both Science and Social Science disciplines to real-world scenarios.
Reflection and Character Building
The itinerary was not limited to data collection. Students also participated in:
Data Tabulation & Reflection: Analyzing findings at the hotel to prepare for final presentations.
CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service): Morning activities focused on physical and personal well-being.
Spiritual Development: Congregational prayers, including Tahajjud and Subuh, to maintain the school’s Islamic values.

By the end of the trip, students presented their processed data, demonstrating their growth as critical thinkers and effective collaborators. This annual event remains a vital part of the IBDP curriculum at SMAIA 3, preparing students for the academic challenges of global higher education.
